Located in Hominy, Oklahoma, Butcher House Meats is a state- and federally inspected meat processing facility and retail butcher shop operated by the Osage Nation. The 19,000-square-foot facility serves as both a processing plant and a public-facing meat market, offering beef, bison, pork, and, when available, other meats directly to the community. Butcher House sources much of its meat from the Osage Nation’s own herds (cattle and bison), providing locally raised, inspected meat that supports tribal food-sovereignty and community access to quality protein.
